XR / Headsets and devices / Meta Quest Pro
VR with colour passthrough, eye and face tracking, and a fleet already in many training rooms, though Meta no longer sells it.
In a real room
A guided walk-through in VR, the room replaced, or the real room kept through colour passthrough where a program needs it.
Programs
A Quest Pro runs what a Quest 3 runs, and adds what a program does with a learner’s gaze.
PTR VR Library titles run on standalone Meta Quest headsets, so difficult conversations, bias and inclusion and speaking up programs run here. Eye and face tracking suit a custom build where where a learner looks, and for how long, is part of the debrief.
Colour passthrough keeps the real room in view for a mixed reality scene, and the face tracking lets an avatar carry a learner’s expression into a shared scenario. The guided museum walk-through on the XR hub runs in VR here, the hall replacing the room.
Virtual reality at PTR covers what the replaced room adds to practice.
The fleet
Meta states that "Meta Quest Pro is no longer available", so a Quest Pro program runs on headsets an organisation already owns.
A device manager such as ArborXR enrols the fleet across brands, and PTR agrees suitable hardware with you when a session is planned, including when a fleet should move to Quest 3. Headsets and equipment has the IT list.
Simulation centres and universities that bought a Quest Pro fleet for research and want it in the training room, and programs whose debrief asks where a learner looked.
Clinical educators and simulation leads and education describe the fit from their side.
What PTR ships
The Library titles, and a guided walk-through in VR that a school group or a ward orientation can take.
An XR fast build puts your own scenario on the fleet you have before production begins. The Vision Pro page shows the same walk-through in mixed reality, for a floor where the objects are already there.

Questions
Short answers, each with a link to the page that answers in full.
Where the fleet exists, a build in Unity or Unreal Engine for Meta Quest runs across the family, so a program written for Quest Pro moves to Quest 3 when the fleet does.
A record of where a learner looked and for how long, which a facilitator can bring into the debrief, and sharper rendering where the eyes rest. Branching scenarios and AI characters covers what a scenario does with that signal.
A Quest Pro runs standalone. A PC adds nothing a Library title needs; VIVE and Varjo covers the tethered class for professional simulation.
