For trainers and facilitators: bring immersive and AI practice into the sessions you already run

You know the room and the people. PTR brings the scenarios, the headsets or the browser, and the preparation to run them.

The fit

You already run the session. The practice is what is missing

A workshop explains de-escalation, feedback or inclusion well. What it rarely gives people is a turn: a chance to say the words to someone who answers back, and to try again. That is the part PTR adds to a session you already deliver.

What you get

Practice your clients can use in the next session

Run PTR’s programs and VR titles under your own brand, with your own clients. PTR licenses them to you and prepares you to run the debrief.

Ready-to-run VR titles

PTR VR Library titles on bias, discrimination, anxiety at work and leadership, each running inside a facilitated workshop on standalone headsets. The groups are Equal Reality VR, built by Equal Reality, a subsidiary of People Tech Revolution, plus Mind Shift VR and Lift VR.

AI roleplay scenarios

An AI roleplay partner on a laptop or phone, so your participants rehearse between sessions and arrive with something to debrief. You set the scenario with us; the feedback criteria are yours to shape.

Custom scenarios from your client’s situations

Built from the incidents and conversations your client describes, in VR, AR or MR or in a browser, and reviewed with the people they happened to. A fast build puts a first version in front of them quickly.

Preparation and support to run the debrief

Before your first session, PTR walks you through the scenario, the choices inside it and the debrief that follows. The room is yours to run.

Published evidence for your clients

A peer-reviewed paper at ACM CHI 2024 evaluated VR inclusion training led by PTR co-founder Leonie Sanderson: the 7 trainees who returned the optional survey gave 82% average agreement that it was better than Google’s standard DEI training. Published results for these programs come from Google, Mater Education and Mayo Clinic, each measured by the organisation named.

What you bring

Your clients, your room, your facilitation

PTR already delivers with partners: at Metro Trains in collaboration with Grit Leadership and at Etihad with Utano Global.

Facilitators who run it themselves

Mater Education’s own facilitators were trained to run the technology after its pilot. In Mater’s own program evaluation, over 96% of participants wanted more training in VR. PTR has delivered programs with partners before.

How it starts

A conversation, then a first session together

Tell us who you train and the conversations they find hardest. We will suggest a title or a scenario, then run the first session with you.

The first session, run together

PTR sets up the headsets or the browser practice and walks through the scenario with you. You brief the room and lead the debrief, with PTR there for the first run. After that, the format is yours to schedule.

Over the past six months, XRHealth Australia has worked closely with People Tech Revolution to co-design innovative immersive applications... supporting workplace mental health and recovery in the transport industry. Simon and his team have been exceptional collaborators: creative, responsive and genuinely committed to human-centred design. Their ability to understand clinical and operational needs and translate complex ideas into safe, realistic VR environments has made the partnership both productive and enjoyable. Together, we are developing practical, evidence-informed tools that build confidence, resilience and coping strategies through structured, real-world scenarios. I highly recommend People Tech Revolution as a trusted technology partner.

I don't think role plays will ever cut it again in this space. Participants are able to empathise and discuss the experiences... with detail that just wouldn't be possible without actually experiencing it themselves.
