Mobile Experiences

A mobile experience is a build shaped for a phone or tablet first: touch input, a smaller screen, and something a person can pick up and use on the move.

Mobile is one of the capabilities PTR lists on its Fast Builds page, alongside Web, Games, AI and XR, built to the same turnaround PTR publishes for every Fast Build: "Rapid prototypes from 2 business days. Full builds up to 8 working weeks." PTR's published site has also described this kind of multi-surface delivery directly, in a line naming mobile alongside PTR's other build formats: "Custom-built training experiences available on desktop, mobile, VR headsets, and tablets."

This page describes mobile as a Fast Builds capability, not a specific delivered project. PTR has not published a named mobile-experience case study, so none is claimed here; what follows is a general description of the capability itself.

What a mobile-first build is good for, and what it is not

In general terms, a mobile-first build tends to work well when the people using it are not sitting at a desk: on a factory floor, in a classroom, at an event, or simply wherever someone already carries their phone. It usually trades some of the depth of a full desktop or headset build for that convenience, which is part of why it often suits an early prototype or a lightweight companion to a larger experience. It is a weaker fit when the content itself needs a headset's sense of scale and presence, or when the task depends on a bigger screen and sustained, seated attention rather than a quick, on-the-move interaction.
