# Mind Shift VR

Interactive scenarios set in virtual workplaces, covering microaggressions, unconscious bias, inclusive hiring and team inclusivity. Participants make choices that decide how each scene unfolds.

A team idea, and a reply to choose.

Speaking up at the meeting table.

## Mind Shift: Glass Ceilings

A meeting starts. Ideas get raised, dismissed, then repeated back by someone else to a warmer reception.

You are in the meeting, and what you choose to say changes what the room does next.

## What changes for your organisation

The choices are the point. A team that has watched a scene turn on one remark knows what its own remarks do.

Discussing a promotion by the cooler.

### Mind Shift: Inclusive Perspectives

An ordinary chat by the water cooler turns to who deserves a promotion, and why.

Inclusive hiring and team inclusivity are decided in conversations like this one, which is where the title puts you.

## Choices that change the scene

Each scene branches on what the participant says. The same meeting can end more than one way.

Three replies, one meeting.

A team area, where the remark is made.

Answering back, mid-sentence.

> "I lead a team of passionate changemakers dedicated to creating immersive virtual reality experiences that foster better understanding and improved workplace culture. Our PTR VR experiences aim to reduce discrimination and bias while enhancing empathy and inclusion."

## How a session runs

Mind Shift titles run between 4 and 10 minutes each and can sit within workshops and other training. PTR delivers Library sessions with a facilitated group debrief.

Some features need an internet connection; the Library collects no personal data, though it may collect app-improvement and analytics data.

The debrief, naming what the room noticed.

## Where it has run

PTR drew on its Mind Shift modules, alongside Everyday Inclusion, for Etihad Airways' cabin crew inclusion pilot: microaggressions, racial and gender bias and allyship, delivered with facilitated discussion and reflection sessions.

### Airline crews and corporate teams

At Etihad the modules ran over two days inside a longer facilitated program, with a Yarning Circle and carousel sessions around the headset.

The same modules slot into corporate training rooms, with the same debrief each time.

## Inclusive hiring and team inclusivity, in the rooms they happen

An interview panel, a briefing, a team feedback session: the scenes Mind Shift is built from, and the ones PTR builds for the same conversations.

An interview, from the candidate's chair.

An interview panel deciding on inclusive hiring.
