# Evidence and outcomes

Mater Education, Mayo Clinic, Central Coast Council and FoodStream Network each reported the outcomes on this page, in their own name. The peer-reviewed studies sit on the [papers](https://peopletechrevolution.com/work/research-evidence/papers) page.

## Mater Education program evaluation

Mater Education's own evaluation of its "Speaking with Good Judgement: Through the Looking Glass" VR pilot.

A clinician practises with a digital twin.

93%
enjoyed the experience

90%
reported an increase in their concentration

77%
found the VR scenarios more engaging than face-to-face delivery

96%
wanted more VR training in future programs

## Mayo Clinic post-class survey

Alongside its controlled-trial findings on the [papers](https://peopletechrevolution.com/work/research-evidence/papers) page, the JONA paper also reports participant survey results from the program's rollout.

A rehearsal scene from the module.

91.9%
of 593 survey respondents agreed or strongly agreed they achieved the learning objectives

61.1%
rated the overall activity "very good" or "excellent," the more mixed result

A separate, randomised program evaluation found 86.2% felt the simulation was valuable to their professional growth and 89.2% would repeat it, while fewer felt the simulation represented real people (66.3%) or that the avatar felt like them (55.8%). ## Central Coast Council: community adoption

PTR's own published case-study material for the disability-awareness experience co-designed with the Council's Access and Inclusion Reference Group.

A council community program.

### Delivered more than 200 times

The experience "has been implemented across the community more than 200 times and has been incorporated into teacher training programs, internal council staff and CSIRO facilitated training sessions."

Other reported figure, from PTR's own published material. [Read the full case study](https://peopletechrevolution.com/work/case-studies/central-coast-council-disability-awareness).

## Cook It!: classroom engagement

FoodStream Network's own case-study material for "Cook It!," a VR cooking and food-education tool built with PTR for New York City schools, from one classroom session of 9 to 12 students.

A school kitchen classroom.

9 of 12
students chose to take part in the VR session

100%
stayed in the activity for over eight minutes, often needing encouragement to stop

75%
recall rate when asked to identify and spell an ingredient

12
students offered the Cook It VR session
