The question ## Do we need PTR in the room? A safety lead wants nurses rehearsing before the next roster. An L&D manager has teams in several states. A council trainer already runs the workshop. Each wants the practice, not a dependency on our calendar. Every program supports different delivery formats. Nurses discuss a handover at the station. A supervisor faces a guest at the desk. A driver faces a supervisor in a depot. Every way it reaches the team ## Pick the format, or combine them Who runs the session, and what PTR provides, for each. A participant rehearses while others watch. ### Run it yourself with PTR VR Library titles [PTR VR Library](https://peopletechrevolution.com/xr/ptr-vr-library) titles run on standalone headsets inside a workshop your own facilitator leads. Your team takes turns in the headset and your facilitator runs the debrief. PTR provides the titles and agrees suitable hardware with you when planning. Practice across a monitor, laptop and phone. ### AI roleplay in a browser Self-paced practice with an [AI roleplay partner](https://peopletechrevolution.com/ai/ai-roleplay-practice) on a laptop or phone. Staff read the brief, talk it through, get feedback against set criteria and run it again. PTR provides the scenarios and the criteria; nobody needs to book a room. A video call grid of colleagues. ### Remote facilitation Your team practises on site or at home, and a PTR facilitator joins by video call to brief the group and run the debrief. PTR provides the facilitator, the scenarios and the debrief structure; you provide the room and the people. A facilitator briefs participants in a workshop room. ### In person through partner trainers A trainer or facilitator your organisation already works with, or a trainer PTR introduces, delivers the session with PTR’s scenarios, headsets or browser practice, and PTR’s preparation for the trainer. The trainer brings the room and the facilitation; PTR brings the scenarios, the headsets or the browser practice, and the preparation. The debrief ## Wherever the practice runs, the conversation afterwards is the point Each format keeps the same shape: a briefing, a turn, then a debrief on what was tried and what to do next time. People talk it over in a plain room. A participant talks it through with a facilitator. An employee meets a remote colleague from home. The evidence ## Results from programs that ran in a room and on a screen Google and Mater Education each measured the result reported for their program. A home-office call, a Google scenario. ### Peer reviewed: Google, ACM CHI 2024 A [peer-reviewed paper](https://peopletechrevolution.com/uploads/docs/people-tech-revolution-google-vr-inclusion-training-chi-2024.pdf) evaluated VR inclusion training led by PTR co-founder Leonie Sanderson and built with Equal Reality, a subsidiary of People Tech Revolution. The 7 trainees who returned the optional survey gave 82% average agreement that it was better than Google’s standard DEI training.
